ニセコ オープンしたばかりのおすすめスポット Newly opened places to visit in Niseko

今回は、北海道ニセコ町で2021年にオープンしたばかりの、おすすめスポットをご紹介します。
どれも季節に関係なく、いつでも楽しめる場所ですので、参考にしていただけると嬉しいです。
１，ウィスキーの蒸溜所
２，ルピシアのビール工場と食品工場直売所
３，スキンケアショップ兼カフェ
- ニセコ蒸溜所（アンヌプリスキー場の近く）所要1時間程度
日本酒の八海山の会社が作ったウィスキーの蒸溜所が2021年にオープンし、見学ツアーをしています（参加無料、少人数予約制）。
アナウンサーみたいに話し方がきれいなガイドさんが、ここで製造しているウィスキーとジンの設備や製造工程について説明してくれました。
They show this kind of whisky making equipments during the guided tour.
ツアー終了後は蒸溜したてのウィスキーの試飲ができるのと、バーカウンターにてドリンクを注文することもできます（有料）。
お酒はジンベースのもの、ノンアルコールは甘酒ベースのものなどがありました。
”ウイスキーは製造開始後、短くとも 3 年の熟成期間が必要となる”みたいで、現在はまだこの蒸溜所で作られたウィスキーは販売していませんが、て第一弾商品となるジン「ohoro GIN（オホロ ジン）」が発売されています。
売店には、日本の伝統工芸品や高いウィスキー（数百万円！）も売っていました。
予約は早く埋まることもあるので、特に週末や連休に行く予定の場合は、2週間前には予約を入れることをおすすめします。
- ルピシア
お茶の専門店ルピシアが、ニセコでは様々に事業展開していて、以前よりレストランやデリでのパンや惣菜の販売をしていました。（2020年には本社をニセコに移し、本社ビルをこのあと建設予定らしいです！）
・ビール工場見学 所要40～50分
ルピシアはニセコでビールも作っていて、工場では見学ツアーも行っています（参加無料、要事前予約、試飲可能）。
羊蹄山麓ビールと呼ばれるそのビールは、仕込み水に羊蹄山麓から汲み上げる水が使われているそうです。
印象的だったのが、製造過程で出る麦芽のカスは近くのダチョウ牧場のエサになるとのこと。エコですね！
ビールの試飲をさせてもらえるのと、アルコールが入る前の麦汁も試飲させてくれました。甘くて、麦芽糖のジュース、って感じかな？

JR倶知安駅から送迎バスがあるようです（要事前予約）。
・製造直売所、自動販売機
ニセコ町内の別の場所（ビール工場から車で5分程度）には食品工場もあり、2021年には工場の横に24時間購入可能な自動販売機がオープン。こちらの自動販売機ではアイスクリームや冷凍のお弁当やスープ、スコーンなどが定価より安く購入できます。
直売所もあり、冬は工場の横、夏はニセコの道の駅の向かい（ルピシアの工場から車で3分程度）でパンや惣菜を販売しています。春や夏だと、地元野菜を使ったお弁当も販売していることがあります。土曜日の朝にはアウトレットマルシェも開催されます。
※直売所、アウトレットマルシェ、自販機での支払いは現金のみでした。
- ICOR NISEKO
2021年にオープンした、ICOR（イコ）というスキンケアブランドのショップ兼カフェ。
ルピシアのビール工場のすぐ近くにあります。細長く、不思議なデザインの建物です。
SNS映えしそうなドリンクがあり、飲んでみました。→味というよりは、見た目と雰囲気を楽しむために注文してみるのは良いかもしれません。
デザートと軽食もありますが、ここでランチというほどではないので、休憩程度に行ってみてください。
建物自体はそんなに広くはありません。雑誌が少しと、充電スポットもあったので、人が少なければ多少居座ることもできるかも。
国道5号線沿いですが、道路の反対側には小川が流れていて、自然を感じられます。国道沿い、ということを忘れるかも！少しだけ羊蹄山が覗けます。晴れた日に行くのがおすすめ。夏は、小川の方まで歩いていくこともできそうです。バードウォッチングできるかも？？

お手洗いはないので要注意。カード払いはＯＫでした。

どこも、天気が悪くても行ける所なので、ニセコに来ることがあったら行ってみてください。というか、ニセコってスキー／スノーボードだけでしょ！って思ってる方、それ以外にも楽しめるし、自然を感じられる場所なので、ぜひお越しください～。
This time I would like to introduce some newly opened spots in Niseko town, Hokkaido.
- Whisky distillery
A company of famous Japanese sake “Hakkaisan” based in Niigata, opened a new whisky distillery in Niseko in 2021.
They are doing a guided tour to show how they make whisky and gin there. It is free of charge to join the tour, but the booking is necessary in advance.
After the tour, you can taste their freshly distilled whisky, and you can also buy some drinks at the bar counter. They have gin based cocktails and Amazake (made from rice) based non-alcoholic drinks.
They have a small shop too, where they sell Japanese traditional goods and expensive and mature whiskys.
The whisky made in this distillery is not sold yet, since the whisky needs at least three years to become mature enough to be a product.
Instead, they sell “Ohoro Gin”, as the first product made in this distillery.
I recommend you to book at least 2 weeks in advance, especially if you are planning to visit there during weekends or public holidays.
- Lupicia
In Niseko area, a famous tea brand, Lupicia is expanding its business.
They have had a restaurant and deli where they sell cooked food and bread as well as their tea products, for more than 10 years.
In 2020, they have completed a brewery where they make their original beer called “Yotei Sanroku Beer”, which is made from the pure water from Mt. Yotei.
They open the brewery for tourists and you can join the guided tour on every Sundays from 10am. (Free of charge, booking is necessary, tasting of freshly made beer is available)
Shuttle bus is available from Kutchan train station (booking is necessary in advence).
Lupicia also has a food factory in another place in Niseko. (5 minutes drive from the brewery.)
They have opened a small shop and vending machines, next to the factory in 2021. At the shop, you can buy freshly baked bread and cooked foods. From the vending machines, you will find their original frozen products such as scones, soups, and ice creams, with discounted prices.
In summer, the shop moves to the opposite side of Niseko View Plaza and there you will sometimes find lunch box filled with locally grown vegetables.
They hold Outlet Marche on every Saturdays from 7:30am for around 2 hours.
They only accept cash payment at the shop, vending machines, and Marche. No credit card or other payments.
- ICOR NISEKO
A skin care brand called ICOR opened a shop in 2021.
They also sell some desserts and drinks at the shop.
The shop is quite small, but they have some magazines and charging spots, so you might feel comfortable to stay for a while, if there are not many people inside.
You can see a small river from the inside of the shop and have some relaxed time with nature, even though the shop is along the National road 5.
The atmosphere made me concentrate on the nature and I almost forgot that I was close to the big road, when I was inside of the shop.
It’s nice to visit there when it’s sunny. You might be able to see some birds.
No toilet in the shop. They accept credit card payment.
All of these places can be enjoyed in any weather.
